....my blue TUDOR project is going on....


after collecting all the parts for my built:

- HR case & caseback
- HR blue insert
- HR branded blue dial (no date)
- HR hands
- GEN TUDOR bracelet & clasp
- GEN ETA 2824


I will start this weekend to put all them together - but need a signed crown of course.....


Anyone of you know if I can use the 702 crown of Adrian (Athaya here) to replace the sterile one from HR for my built.....?

if you use Athaya 702 crown, you will need the crown tube too

No ya don't. Well, I didn't need to at least.
[MENTION=56364]ferristara[/MENTION] I would actually contact HR and purchase a branded 702 crown. The over all quality of the HR is much much better. I have purchased 5 Athaya 702's and although they look great, the clutch on ALL of them have failed almost instantly.

Looking forward to seeing this as I have a similar build, but I think I'm going to change out the HR dial & bezel insert. HR dial printing in this instance was not that great and the bezel insert color is a bit to purple. Also noticed the HR case trip-lock doesn't have the rubber gasket on the tube as gen does.
