I love this watch and am looking at buying it. Is there a big difference between the 2813 and the 2836 beat rate? The 2813 to me doesn't look smooth I have a video of it on a wrist but I've not seen the 2836 in action to compare.

I've done some research through the forum and ready they're both 28800 but some saying the 2836 is smoother, how if both the same beats?
if someone could post a vid of a 2836 sweep would be greatly appreciated

I can't see the pics of the watch. With the 2813 it's a bit of a gamble. Mine arrived DOA but it is easily replacable. Doesn't the Calibre 5 have an open case back though?
Found that out after I posted this. Generally most cheap auto reps use the 2813 21J and they're not very smooth due to the bph.

If I were you I'd get the 2836. The blue on the rep dial will probably be a bit too light in color but I honestly wouldn't worry if I were you. Also the logo looks a bit stretched, but could be the pics, it's up to you if the flaws are acceptable. No one would legit check a Tag Carrera anyways. I was actually thinking of buying a white dial rep and put it on a nice strap, it is pretty low key IMO.
When QCing it, just make sure that the markers are straight, on the one from the example pictures at Puretime the 12 o clock markers look misaligned.

Defo. The 2813 Is the 21J - 21600bhp movement which is used in mega cheap autos and doesn't sweep smoothly I wouldn't get any auto with that in it would bug the life out of me I'd rather have quartz lol but when I first made this post I didn't know this difference but read a lot.
