I wanted to post some pics of my first watch of this quality, my **Blue bae**

I think I basically removed all the links I was able to. I didn't realize my wrist was so small. I like it nice and tight on my wrist though, no slop.

This is my first time wearing a bracelet. I found it feminine and masculine at the same time. It looks nice when it pops out from under my sleeve and tucks away really easily (almost too easily).

CON: Some of my hour markers weren't all the way flat against the dial. Did anyone else have this problem? The noon arrow is bent as well, so isn't just missed when gluing.

I thought I would get this and then get an IWC pilot watch, but now I'm thinking another tudor (the red or pelagos) this or a planet ocean.

Very nice catch, I like the Blackbay blue on SS and the red on bomberjacket leather. Congrats on Yours, wear it well.

welcome to the rep world. It does however look as though all the markers are lined up and placed in the right spot. I've had reps that the hour markers weren't completely flat against the dial, but from a foot or less away not noticeable at all. Just have to remember that these are reps and there's going to be flaws. Luckily these arent' noticeable except really up close. I think it looks very good. I can't tell from the pics about the triangle being croooked, but maybe it's just the way the pics were taken. It would be more noticeable from taking a pic stright on the dial again, if it's not something that's not a flagrant flaw that sticks out like a sore thumb I don't pass on them. I like the pics I think coax posts once in awhile viewing a wach from 1 foot , and then 3 feet and then 5 feet. the flaws are not noticeable at all, and are what others see if they even happen t notice your watch, which nobody honestly really ever notices what you are wearing on your wrist, but if they do bother you we have a list of trusted watchsmiths here and modders who can fix those for you very reasonably. beautiful watch, thanks for sharing.

Yep, What George says above ^^^ You definitely don't notice the tiny flaws from a few feet away.
Sometimes we get way too caught up in the minutest of details when really we need to remember that we are getting fantastic quality watches for a fraction of the cost of the gen. I'm still in love with my Black Bay (Red) and my Pelagos and still sometimes look at them and think..."wow i can't believe i've got both of these".
I remember seeing the Black Bay first of all when someone mentioned it on one of the forums and posted a picture and i totally loved it and knew right them that i had to have one. We are so lucky....i always remember that.

Good points made between you and egroe. It's really unnoticeable until you take a high-res photo. Very happy with the watch, it reeks of quality.

Also, to the previous poster, it's the 2824 movement

I was thinking something like that too. The tan leather looks really good with both of the baes though.

Something about the blue color and offwhite-creamy hands. This watch definitely does it for me.

Very nice watch.
My "Red bay" is the same when it comes to lume in hour markers. Lume is filled excessively that creates a curve. Some hour markers also have uneven lume, looks lumpy. But again, thats only when you look really closely. Otherwise, its a perfect rep!

I just got mine a couple of weeks ago and deeply in love with it:

If you could have a look at the Weekly wristcheck thread as there are quite a few different ideas, will make it easier for your choice of next watch.

Toss a coin, You won´t regret either. And they are really great choices, both of them quite heavy and hefty on the bracelet (near 190 grams) and very light/easy on leather strap (94 gr.). Modern technology and vintage looking flair, all functionality of a dive-watch for measuring elapsed time with the turning bezel. And it´s a "believable" watch, quite rightly/still affordably priced as new gen.

In my opinion, red is a bit more stand-out and it has that fake vintage look to it. The red's dial is actually brownish to chocolate colour so it looks even nicer under direct sun light or under artificial halogen lights. The blue one is a bit more "serious" i think. Blue also goes very well with whatever clothes you're wearing too!

That's what i love about the BB!

Right now i'm right on the edge leaning towards the red, partly due to the gilt dial...

but everytime i look at the blue... yeah, tossing a coin seems like a reasonable thing to do!

yes, agree... the blue is more 'subdued'... but in a good way of course!

i guess it depends on where you work and how you wear for work....

That's it: the gilt dial! I guess that's the most interesting feature of the red bay

Great blue bay. I hope you're enjoying it as much as we are enjoying are blue black red bays!

I have a red one and have toyed with the idea of getting a blue one. Love the icy blue look!

Having said that, anyone wear their red bays to work? How do you find it in a less casual environment?
