Blancpain's 38mm "Hodinkee" Bathyscape

Those of you who know Blancpain and the Bathyscape know that us small wristed folks have been dying for the 38mm replication of it, but so far, no luck.

However, doing research, something interesting happened

It's pretty cool but $10,000 for that watch is a travesty.

I recently was trawling through some chinese dealers pages when I found that they had in fact replicated it, although not 1:1






In fact there are some fantasy variants, here's the same model with the ceramic case (which is complete fantasy)

I did not. I was told the quality was average at best. And it was very expensive for what it is.

Any suggestions on which factory to go with with Bathyscaphe Chronographe Flyback. I would love the ceramic Green dial, but I do not know if anyone produces it.

Sorry bud but I haven't found any replica of this one. Best to ask around the TDs.

Bathyscapes aren't very popular now and you can't even get a good Bathyscape 43mm anymore....
