What do you think of this version of this amazing watch?

To me the dial looks very muted, almost lifeless, and it's a shame if it had a decent guilloche dial it would make this a dream rep.

Do you reckon a V3?

I meant just the blue guilloche, not the whole dial layout which I love.

The blue is duller, and lacks the luster of the gen.

You gotta remember that on a dial like this the lighting can change the look of it completely. Here's a another pic of the same watch from Trusty.

i would say the same about the lighting, I've had pics from dealers of the blue dialled ZF Bathyscaphe and TI Fifty fathoms that didn't reflect the vibrancy and depth of the dial at all

Is this watch still available from TDs? I have a couple emails out there, but I haven't heard back. I tried the Gen on last week in Vegas and it was beautiful. Looks like the rep might be off in thickness? 13mm rep vs. 10mm gen?

Yes i'm afraid the rep is about 2 mm too thick.
