All thoughts and observations on that BPFF and other versions have been overshared already. You just need to do a search. It was 2014 Rep of the Year. That's saying enough already. [emoji6]

You're wrong. This is a currently available watch made by a factory other than Noob. It IS NOT the EXCELLENT 2014 Noob V1 BPFF. That's why I'm looking for some input... High price point. Does anybody know if this is about what the Noob v1 watches cost when they were available?

You're obviously in need of some education. Luckily for you I'm in the mood to humor you. The watch is v2 by Noob not a different maker and has been around since November 2014. It says so on the page you linked. However, Andrew/Trusty won't tell you that it's from Noob because he's had a legendary falling out with the Noob factory. He's also known for higher markups than other TDs. It's really the same watch offered for less here: http://puretime01.com/fifty-fathoms...rg-black-dial-on-sail-canvas-strap-a2836.html, also available since November 2014. The v1 was essentially the first batch (I have one) and can only be acquired in m2m trades.

Hyjynx,

I greatly appreciate you taking the time to educate me. That's exactly what I was hoping somebody would offer. I've read every thread I could find on the BPFF and nothing I read offered the insight you've provided.

I mistakenly thought Noob stopped making the V2 a long time ago. I had no idea they were still producing the watch. I saw the 2014 release date on Angus's site but thought it was just an old listing for the V1. If I'm not mistaken even the picture on the PureTime site depicts a V1 model as the bezel numbers are not "white" and the 5's are not fat.

I saw Andrew posted it was a manufacturer other than Noob. That's what made me believe it was a version other than the Noob V2. I wasn't aware Andrew had a rift with Noob. I've also never liked the price Andrew is charging....

Bottom line, I thought the only way to get the Noob V2 was via M2M. I've been trying to find a M2M V1 but have not had any luck as most realize it's a special watch and aren't selling.

Hell, I thought the V2 was discontinued back in late 2014 or 2015.

Matter of fact Angus currently has a Breitling of mine I had to send back for warranty work as the A7750 failed after just a couple days. I can have him ship the BPFF to me when he returns the Breitling he's fixing. Basically free shipping. Angus actually sent me a PM several hours ago saying a waterline broke at his office and did significant damage. He said it would shut him down for about a week.

Again, thanks.

On a side note, isn't the watch that is shown in the link you provided below a Noob V1?

Rick

Sorry, but it's not for sale. Noob caught lightning in a bottle with that first batch - a rare thing in repdom.

All the information we gathered to know that the Andrew's watch is the Noob V2, TT history and BPFF availability is here.
You're just lazy and rude. Obviously you think too much and did not read enough.
Take a few months of reading and don't be stupid enough to tell someone he's wrong if you're not 100% sure about what you're saying.

You said that he had a problem with a water pipe right?

There is something I am missing in this business... Other TD has just said me the same. I don't believe in such coincidences at the same time... The other TD is WatchStation.

Regarding the BFF, I thought noob was about discontinue the production because it is an expensive and difficult to make rep.

I have a really nice V2 compared to others I have seen and it is a keeper for me. I will not sell it. Great watch.

Thanks man I was getting crazy about that... I had one order with them and I didn't understand how they send always QC pics and watches testing using email and references of Puretime... That gives sense to all my doubts... Now I feel completely silly for not thinking about it before...
