I'm just not interested in a chronograph. It's way to busy for me.

Davidsen's simple non chrono vintage versions are far more attractive imo.

I generally tend to simpler watches, non-chronos, but I think this BP is very cool looking. Some of the numbers on the rep bezel look a little funky and the seconds sub-dial is different than the gen. Other differences but only when compared next to the real thing and none of those would stop me from getting one. :D

you won't see an accurate non-chrono model unless some new movement comes out... the Blancpain movement is far wider than any of the eta based ones... either 30 or 31.4mm.... can't remember exactly..

the only movement that could put the DW in the right place would be a 7750.... but it would be too thick...

I have a particular interest in vintage rep's. Just ordered one from Davidsen and will post pics when it arrives.

His is sooooo accurate it's scary.

Damn, Cybee comes through again. Isn't Cybee the Member of the Year or something? Good points from all. Look forward to seeing your pictures, Robert, and also hear about your buying experience.

I see we have a new release of a watch that we have all been waiting for (Blancpain Fifty Fathoms)... Why no heat? No one seems to care. :(

Hey Doc,

i'm waiting for a non-chrono version with proper lumed dial and bezel. the one you posted has some funky numbers on the bezel, the "5" in 15 and 45 in particular. i don't see why they can't make the non-chrono one with an ETA movement....

Has anyone found a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms with a correct dial i.e. the 12hours counter at 9:00, 30 mins counter at 3:00, and small secs at 6:00?

I have only ever found the one with 60 secs at 9:00

Any help would be appreciated.

I am also looking for the new 2009 IWC aquatimer Chrono Divers, Blk/Yel on Blk rub Strp.

Thanks Again

Mind sharing where you heard this. I had a dealer tell me just last week that there were no plans for any factory to put out a FF. It would be great news if it's true.
