Black bay v5 advice

Hey guys.. has anyone got a black bay black V5 they could share pics of the dial and hands. I'm going through QC at the moment and it seems the lume of the hands and dial are a different colour eg the hands are green in normal light. I noticed on the sellers sight they look the same. I turned it down but the TD said they are all like that... just wondering if this is the case. Any help would be greatly appreciated

From what I have seen, they are all pretty much like that.

People on the thread about the new shield version are saying the same thing... I wonder if this would even be noticeable in real life and not magnified 100x's?

Okay cool I'll just accept this one then... it seems QC pics the V5 blue bezel version has really white lume on the hands and dial... major difference

seems to be a problem with all the BB's that have gold hands, it was fixed in v3-4 of the Rose version, but looks like its gone back again. I had to get my old one relumed at £100 cost. once you see it you cant unsee it.

Looks so close to me if it wasn't circled I would t have thought anything of it.

Yeah it seems that way all the other versions seem fine, shits me you'd think that's something you'd rectify by the fifth version. One step forward, two steps backwards lol...maybe I can find some hands to swap over

Yeah I have a V5 and it is like that but I have had it for months and never noticed it until you brought it up.

Hmm, my bb bronze (the latest kw version) has this problem (so does the ZF one) but my ZF V5 rose logo does not.

@mnkoshka which TD did you get the V5 Bb from? Puretime said they are not going to be getting more V5 BB and I had placed an order with them a few weeks ago for it. I changed my order to another watch as a result.

My advice would be wait till they bring this bad boy out, they dont have same lume problems on ones with silver hands

Its just because the hands have more lume mass that the color looks different. I have had my old black bay bronze relumed by Zocker (Forum Mod). He used the same lume for hands and dial but it still ended up looking slightly different in regular lighting. This is basically confirmation for this theory as he assured me that he did not use 2 different lume colors when i asked him about it.

To me looks like problem is back, also only seems to be on the bays with gold hands.

Okay might be a different cause here then. Its just that my old one, even though it was relumed still seemed like it had two different colors on sometime. And if it bothers you so much, you can always buy a matching Dial and hands from helenarou. This is what i will do now for my black bay v4 as the lume chipped off of my watch hands

personally, I'm looking forward to the new steel bezel version or will try and buy a old rose v4. I prefer the type going in a circle at the bottom, even if I do like the shield logo

Yeah I did order from puretime so I wonder what they are selling me then they told me all black bays are like this now. Seems they haven't got any of actual watches I've ordered... sounds dodgy and miss leading if you ask me

I reckon they are just flogging off all the old stock no one wanted. V1,v2,v3,v4 and now V5 that's not available. Seems like they don't even know the difference themselves.
