Black Bay Leather Strap Options

Hi All,

My wife wants a blue Black Bay on leather, and after trying the blue and red version on in our local AD the other day, I'll probably get one too!

What I want to know is if the rep deployment clasp is any good and, if so, what length strap do I need to look for to work with it? I'm assuming the rep leather isn't even worth thinking about using..?

If the clasp is junk, I'll just buy the watches with bracelets and stick nice Hirsche (or similar) straps on.

Hi Alex!

The rep clasp is not too bad in my opinion, I wouldnt put any strap WIDER than 3mm though.
The dimensions for the clasp is 22/18mm.

Working with these dimensions i think its best to go custom as its pretty difficult to find ready made 22/18mm straps. Cheers!

Thanks for the reply, do you know what lengths the rep straps are?

I think I've tried to get 22/18mm deployment straps before for an IWC and struggled, so maybe I'll have to go custom...

The length would also depend on your wrist size, i usually get a 120/75 for my 6.75 wrist.
