Hi I just received a V3 BB from Toro. Everything great about it except 1 issue. There's a little smudge on the inside of the crystal which is very visible. I didn't notice it on QC pics due to the hour hand being right under it and it is visible on an angle only. I emailed Toro and waiting for a response, I'd hate to send it back and having to wait a month before I get it back for just this issue. In the meantime I've been reading post on how to remove the movement and doing it myself. Can you guys help me out or give me any recommendations please? Btw movement is an eta 2824 clone.

If you have not worked with watches and movements before I would suggest you take it to a small watch repair shop and have them clean the crystal for you. You can also have them lube the seals and maybe even regulate the movement at the same time (if need be). It won't cost you that much and you will have a solid watch for the future.

I would contact WBK in the trusted dealer section, he's got a great watchmaker who works on reps. Very fair prices and quick service.

I've been watching you tube videos regarding stem removal on eta 2824, is it pretty much the same regarding Asian 2824 clone? And do you recommend removing on winding or setting position? Last thing I want to do is f@ck up the keyless.....correct me if I'm wrong. I have some tools and might try to do this myself.

2824 clone is the exact same time as the eta 2824. Release it in the winding position, thought I have done it in the other positions before without issue, and only messed up the keyless work once when the stem was in the time adjustment position (easily fixed by disassembling and resetting the whole keyless work)
