Hi guys,

Looking to pull the trigger on a black bay heritage as a daily beater.

I've seen on countless other threads the V2 can be had very cheap from watch station, does anyone know if this is still the case?

I have had a look on their website and unless I am being as dense as a brick they are not listed on there, I have emailed the TD to see if they can source, But thought it might be quicker posting here.

If not I'll probably just head to Ryan at in time and get the V4.

Thanks :)

I had one, they're great for the money. But I sold mine as I just didn't like the low beat movement. If it's a beater then it makes sense.

Just wait on the TD to respond. They're quick to respond (They're TDs for a reason). Plus, even if a million people on the forum told you they still sell it, but the TD says they don't it's not like you can tell them "no, people say you have it! stop hiding it from me!"

Yeah really can't decide between the V2 and the v4 no matter how many threads I read.

I should probably just go with the V4 because it's still so cheap, but I can't help but ponder on the V2.

Out of interest how many beats per second is the V2, the V4 is 8 I read the same as gen is that correct?

I'm a serial lurker and still completely amateur when it comes to watches compared to most of you experts so I doubt the movement would bother me so much.

I'm not sure what the price of the v4 is but it should be easier to sell on if it's not for you, as for the movement the v2 had a low beat 21,600 movement while the v4 has the 28,800. The v2 wasn't stutters by any means, it was the smoothest low beat I've owned. I just couldn't get away with it personally.

Is it normal for a TD to be able to get an old version of something?

I assumed because they are still selling them on intime that watchstation would still have them or be able to source them?

Oh. I see what you are looking at now. The V2s are less because they have a low beat movement and mineral crystal. They were always this price so it's not really like you are getting a better deal for an older version.

Yeah I'm still not 100% sure whether I'm going to go for the V2 or V4, but from what I have read the V2 is a lot cheaper on watchstation than on intime so I was just seeing if anybody knew If watchstation could get them as they are not listed on the website

What did you finally decide on? I received my Red V2 today and I'm surprised how nice it is. This is my first low beat but its unnoticeable on the wrist. If you have not pulled the trigger go V2 my friend.

Let us know what the reliability is. I might go that route provided that it is and if I could find a plexi crystal replacement
