Black Bay Crown Engraving Paint Fade

Hi all,

Anyone have experience on fixing the faded: chipped black paint on the BB crown engraving? Mine has parts faded and I'm looking to renew it.

I as thinking of using a sharpie but would definitely want to know if there are better and more durable methods. Thanks!

I had the same problem, I used a Painters brand black opaque paint marker. Cover the whole crown and wipe the excess of with some tissue. Do several layers wait an hour or so between layers. Good luck

If you are open for a swap, check HR crown. I do not know about durability but wide of the engravings look far better than ZF.
