Thats me in the corner..
Literally dropped on the Tudor website, like a Black Bay Dark with off white hands and markers.. ceramic black matte insert. The kind of watch I think Darth Vader would wear. Dont know if I can link pics here.. Check it out Tudor fans. The website actually states the case is ceramic ooohhhhhh

Yeah, pass. The last time there was hype for a Tudor release they gave is the PO1 - which is fugly.

There was a bunch of hype because they also announced a partnership with Forces Sous-Marines - some were expecting a new Pelagos or Sub.

Tudor's marketing and comms are absolutely terrible.

My gen developed a fault this morning and it's going off to RSC. Knew it was a bad omen.

Im a fan of Tudor, it is somewhat affordable luxury with good pedigree.
Not a huge fan of this release but I do have my eye on a bronze slate and maybe even that black dial 1926 with Explorer/Ranger vibes.

The PO1 was very forgettable.

To my knowledge, this is the first non-Omega Metas certified watch available.
The dlc-coated Mt-5602-1U doesn't look bad either.

Its a question of taste. Some people may like it, but for me the black ceramic doesnt fit well to the BB-Design. This one here looks much better imo ;-)

I also think the matte black with the ceramic bezel looks a bit to boring and does not suit the heritage look of the black bay. But that’s down to personal Taste in my opinion. The certification is great I think and makes the watch special in some way.

SMALLER? Smaller is Mini Sub territory. Have you considered working out?:p
I think a 39mm and 2mm thinner would look great. I wear my gen Pelagos at work but it doesn't go under the cuff as easily.

Sadly, my time in the house of iron has not blessed me with bigger wrists

Echoing the smaller pelagos dream. Not sure if 39 or 40 would be the sweet spot, but 12mm thick. Then my watch addiction would finally be cured.

also the ceramic looks like trash and I had to turn off the volume on the release video because their sassy voiceover actor was sending me into a rage.

100%. IMO, there is no better looking modern diver out there.

A new Pelagos would be nice. I'd prefer it if they dropped that tricksy complex chapter ring, and used steel. So its more like the Submariner that everyone wants. I know they are hallmarks of the Pelagos, but I hate titanium as a watch material - it feels flimsy and cheap.

A smaller,thinner Pelagos in steel?
That wouldn't be a Pelagos.
We are talking about reps here, so you can get a sub or a BB 58, end of the story.
