Alright so i have received a package from my TD today and inside i found my new ZF V2 and also my new KW V2. You may be wondering why i ordered both? Well in total ordered four watches and i had to wait a month for the other two of them so after i ordered the KW and paid already the new ZF V2 came out and decided to buy it aswell so you will find my KW in the sales section soon. Alright so here are some pictures:
Left and in the Nato is the ZF V2. Overall the ZF looks better and also feels better.

I have a feeling that KW did not change a thing about the bronze from V1... look at the way the patina is coming in. The ZF is the correct yellowish tint. The aluminum bronze mix should produce a very slow grayish patina that's not patchy and rainbow colored. I'm of the opinion that ZF really did try to match the bronze mix.

the kw here is not the new version. kw has a total of 3 versions. v1 and v2 use the same Bronze and the new v3 from kw also has the alu bronze so the color should be the same as the zf.

There is no such thing as Kw V2 (they jumped from V1 to v3 to avoid confusion with the ZF v2)

ZF looks great tho. I wonder which bezel color is more accurate (ZF is way more reddish than the kw...I think that's the major difference between the V3 kw and ZF V2)

but this is not the kw v3 if you look on intime.co there is 3 different BBB from kw. this is the v2 the v3 is with the new alu bronze. and the v1 is the cheaper one of the two using this bronze.

lol... someone said KW just changed the name of v2 to v3 to throw people off the ZF. I'm all sorts of confused. They need to calm down with the "versions." Just give us your very best shot first... we'll wait!

yes... and the zf dial looks more dull/grey brown whereas the KW looks more reddish brown. You could probably make a case for both with all the different gen pics floating around. We need to send these to someone with a gen to get a real side-by-side. All three under the same light would tell us everything we need to know.

That is correct. There is no KW v2 or v3 (depending on the terminology). There are in total of 4 versions (2 ZF and 2 KW). If you look at Intime, the kw v2 over there is simply the v3 that is on the other TDs sites (for those, you won't find any kw v2 listings). The first versions are regular bronze which are a bit more reddish and the ZF v2 and KW v2/3 are the more goldsih color cases which is more gen like. If you look at the gen pics, the first case color is definetely off as almost all gens look goldish and shiny.

I think it is pretty messed up that TDs or Factories calling the KW v3 to make it look more upgraded (or as they claim, to avoid the confusion w ZF)....but oh well, not the first time (ZF now calls the BB red and Blue as V5 bc now they offer a nato strap with it...instead of the leather one before!!!!)

@robinstyler , that NATO looks way better than the previous version and the case color seems pretty good to my eyes. There is something strange about the ZF fonts for the 3-6-9 numerals...especially the "6" which appears to be thinner and not evenly made like the Kw one (may be it is my eyes..idk). THe dial color seems to be different too.

IF it is not too much to ask, can you take a pic of the dials side by side with a bit less glare for color and font comparison please?

Thank you!

Yes but the kw V1 is listed twice (once with NATO + leather, and again with leather+NATO :)) so in total there are 4 different variations. I really hate how these factories are confusing the heck out of us.

The new ZF nato looks A TON better than the KW nato which was a total joke. I used it once and it was already falling apart.

The new KW nato is a million times better too...both factories got the first NATO wrong...you are not comparing the right pair here

OP i hope you only paid 240+ for that KW, because that is a v1. Like some have said, the kw v2=v3, v3=v2, and should be using alu-bronze.
I have recently released a kw v2/v3 one i can say for sure that it is a solid quality rep, the material is unlike the v1 (which is actually nice in its own way) and is much more yellowish.
If you ask me which would i go for between zf and kw, I will go for kw since ZF is known for many QC issues.

The new kw nato is also much better btw.

Hi, like i said in first post, this is the old kw version so dont worry i paid normal price for both. just thought it would be interesting to see the new improvements ZF has made. Ofc it would be best to have both new versions side by side but sadly i dont have the money for that. I just happened to have both these watches as i first purchased the kw and then the new zf was released so i grabbed that aswell and sold the kw. Also i really like the ZF. Didnt get the new kw as it wasnt out by the time of my purchase since the zf was released a little bit earlier. At the moment i have sent the Zf to zocker for a nice relume as the lume is really bad out of stock for it but the usual qc issues that people have with zf didnt really arise with this watch. The bezel is super tight and doesnt even have a milimeter of play in it and after the relume it should be a really ncie watch.
