Does anyone have any info whether these companies have replicated this model? Size is perfect to me.

Honestly, since the Gen runs on ETA 2824, it would make sense replicating it as it shares very similar characteristics as the Datejust 116200 if you want the less bling. Also, it would be easy to create a 1:1 Case.

I think of it more like a modern Explorer 1016, actually. But yes, should be really easy to rep but I'm not sure if the factories understand how much sought after are the 36mm watches nowadays with so much hype for huge clownish watches...

I think there would be at least a minimal demand for the watch, it's kind of a niche watch but a lot of people like the model.

But damn, this new black bay fifty-eight almost makes me forget the 36.

#SmallWristGang haha I used to wear 40-44mm. 6.25" wrist. Now, 36-40mm is much preferred.

The BB36 came out when I first got into watches a few years back. Really hoped for a rep back then. In the meantime I bought a Seiko skx013 and snapped the bezel off to sort of get a similar look (from a distance, if you squint). Still here wishing for a rep of this modern take on the older Rolex Explorer, though I agree with Ronald that the BB58 sort of makes me forget about the BB36.
