I contacted @steve_theonewatches because I'd really enjoyed his blog articles and found them very helpful. I messaged him to ask about the RM035 from Sonic Factory, he responded very quickly. After a little back and forth he confirmed there had been issues with the movement similar to the RM055 from BBR.
Hearing this I decided to switch targets, the next watch on my ever growing list was an FM Vanguard carbon fibre. I asked Steve if he can still source this model:
As this was quite an old release he took a day to check and informed it was still available.
He offered me to pay a small deposit so that he can process the order and get QC images.
Once payment was received he came back to me a couple of days later to advise that the exact model I requested wasn't available but there is a similar one and sent QC for that. I liked the alternative but requested a couple more images including a lume shot. Steve's QC is excellent by the way, as well as the images I also got a video on the timegraph and a video of time and date setting. He got back to me very quickly with the other images that I had requested and I was happy to GL.
I paid the balance of the order and Steve shipped the watch 5 days later, he sent me the tracking details. This is my first rep purchased from China so fortunately there were no hold ups. Watch arrived 9 days later.

Agreed to pay deposit so Steve can order and QC
9 July Deposit payment sent and received
12 July Email from Steve advising that the model I requested is not available but a similar model is, he sent QC for approval.
Requested a couple more pictures including lume shot.
13 July GL. Order confirmed, balance of payment sent
18 July Email with tracking details
