I wanted to show you all and say on the forum, a big thank you to Johnny Depp for helping me finally update my TC V6 Sub, I purchased the watch back in April 2016 when I had first joined the RWI forum, as one of my first acquisition’s and the sale went well and I was enjoying the watch, a TC V6 Rouge. As my watch addiction took over this beauty took a back seat and sat in my watch box !

Last year I took the decision to reduce my collection (a work in progress) and keep only a small selection and I decided at this point to get some modifications done on the TC Sub that being, Change the Rouge hand, install ProfCrystal and Gen crown.

I was having problems winding the watch and the stem was playing up, and the date wheel wasn’t changing as it should getting stuck overnight, so I thought whilst I was getting this all done have a service and get the updates carried out all at once, I sent the watch off to Zocker back in November 2017, and for reasons still not clear but I do hope Zocker is well, he was unable to complete the work. I didn’t hassle him as I was in no rush but after 6 months, I did start think something wasn’t good.

Anyhow after several conversations with the Admin RadDave QueTip and others, they finally managed to retrieve my watch and it was back in my hands with parts on 17th Aug, I was in talks with a couple of people and finally sent my watch back off to Johnny Depp on the 23rd Aug and it was received by Johnny Depp on the 30th August.

All I can say is what an amazing service and thank you so much, I have always enjoyed looking at his work and he has not disappointed me either, I received the watch back in my hands today Friday 7th September after leaving Italy 4th September an amazing turnaround after such a long wait.

Now for some before and after pictures and I do hope this does the work justice, I have kept the crystal crown and second hand in case I ever change my mind but TBH I don’t think I will be doing anything I think after the miles this watch has travelled, it is now about to enjoy some wrist time, in and out the water and will be a keeper for sure.

On a final note I would highly recommend Johnny Depp for any Modifications or repairs, we had great communication on email and text and videos and all pictures of the whole process before and after amazing service and after 10 months it was worth the wait.

My experience of people servicing watches has been pretty bad of late, my Omega Speedy has been with a UK Watch Smith for 14 Months as well, needless to say I won’t be going back to him EVER Again.

Pictures will follow uploaded from my phone for some reason since all the changes I have more problems uploading them,

Thanks again JD
