Hi everybody,
I'm new. Writing from Canada. I've come to be a Panerai fan few mnths ago but this interest is getting always bigger.
I would like to buy my first rep but I'm having big problems. I really don't know wich one I should get and how much I should spend. I was looking at a range of price aro 100/120 dollars but fom what I understood there's not much. For example, the beginner watches that Toro sells for under 100 dollars, are reliable? I know they're not gonna be that close to the gen, but how different they are from a noob? Do they fall apart?
If you can, plese give me some advices about where to fing good offers and what I shoul get.
P.S.: i like luminor style like 111, sandwich numbers, black dial.
Thank you.

Getting To Know The Place

Hi Newbie and Welcome!

Hi mate, firstly welcome to this brilliant forum. You'll find a lot of great people here, who are really helpful. You'll also find a mountain of fantastic information. I would recommend that you scroll down the home page and really explore the area's of the forum. You will find out almost anything that you want or need to know. The brand forums are incredibly informative. Also the members purchase reviews of trusted dealers gives a great insight as to what you might expect from each. A great place to begin looking for your desired watch is the members replica sales area. Here you will could find the piece you are looking for even with a few mod's to it for the same or less than a trusted dealer! It is really worth a look. Just scroll down the page past the replica dealers section, past the brand forums, past the tech section to the members sales and trade area. Click on that heading and you will have page after page of members selling their watches.

Here is a link to one of the watches that you described that a member is selling
http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/forumdisplay.php/replica-watch-sales-29
It is on the second page of the member sales area. You will find all sorts on here, including Frankens at less than what they cost to build.
Good Luck Tom

There are plenty of reviews across the boards on Toros beginner watches. I know the PAM 024 was really popular. Anything with a A6497 will be relatively reliable. The fewer complications the better the reliability typically. I haven't read anything about any of them flat out falling apart.

Also if you can expand your budget a bit look at Trevors selections.. he has a few nice late model pams for $158.

Good luck with your hunt.

I'm Pretty Popular
My first Pam was the 111H with the 6497 manual wind. It ran me about $110US from a TD who has since retired. It is still my favorite and gets plenty of wrist time! The straps that come with the less expensive choices are usually not impressive so, you may look to dress it up with an after market strap. I used Panatime as they offered affordable vintage leather straps that go well with the 111H.

I just would like to know if anybody know the quality of these particular models from timeshop.
I just would like to buy a watch that looks pretty and doesn't brake after 1 year. It's still 100 dollars and I don't like to waste money.

From these few I think this one is the best choice:

http://www.timeshops.net/3589-pa2067---panerai-luminor-1950-black-dial-sslt---asian-6497.html

But if you can pay a bit more, I suggest you to go for H-factory 111 as most of the watches in those links are variations of 111 but not so accurate. I ordered my first 111 a week ago from sead1999 who is TD here and he has great prices, the best I could find. I got it for about $180 + shipping but I think it's worth these $50-60 more. I hope this helps. ;)

I would not buy nothing of this list
It is not worth spend money in these watches, you will be disappointed in some months if not before.
I agree with shelby, better save a little more of money and get a H maker 111. Nice watch and good replica

This is the One Million answer with a replica.
The replicas have not an appropriate Quality Control (in case they have someone) then there is no reliability in these products.
They can last one hour to fifteen years.
Fortunately they are more and more good and concretely PAM 111 V3 has a good maker and one of the most reliable movements in replica world.
If you are a little lucky you wil have watch for many years.
