I would pick Serie Specialle. Reasons:

1. It is very close to the genuine.
2. Abundant genuine dial for your to swap.
3. Excellent lume on hands (Superlumed).
4. Non recess date (like in tricompax version of Navitimer).

If you can have Ultimate Evolution, then go for it... Dual Side AR Coated and feels more solid that Navitimer.

Brushing the case is not hard. There are many article to guide you on how you should do it.
Genuine dial usually sells for 50-100USD depending on condition and shipping fee.
Ultimate EVO can be less than 300 USD> depending on dealers.

Hmmm just another observation... surprisingly the 4 font on white Asian Steelfish Superocean really resembles real Breitling font *the Swiss version is wrong font :p I am not joking on this one but non sapphire, no AR crystal is a huge minus point for this watch.

I bought the Swiss Eta SFSO, from Angus, because I really need a watch to swim and Dive, but certainly I would buy the serie speciale.

The Navitimer is my all-time favorite Breitling. I don't think there's one out there yet with AR on it, is there?

The AR coating is there. Single sided AR coated on the inside. Almost non visible but it's there.. (at least on my TT model).

It's a toss up between the Nav SS and the Asian SFSO.

Two entirely different ends of the spectrum as far as appearance is concerned. Depends on your personal taste, as well as intended use. The SFSO is a good sports, tool, etc watch where the Nav could be considered more dressy/casual with it's classic look.

I really like both watches but I voted for the SF because it is close to the Swiss version minus the eta movement and sapphire with 2xAR.

If you like Breits, you really should think about going for either the "Ultimate" BCE or the Swiss SFSO. :D You wouldn't be sorry.

If I remember correctly, you have a slim wrist. I think the SFSO may be too big for you. It's a massive watch.
I too have a slim wrist (6.5") Joshua's Navi Serie Speciale fits me very well.

PO 45,5mm fits me very good and I could even imagine a bigger watch.

I am 1,95m big, and weigh 86kg... not small :p

It's quite a tie between Navi Serie Special and SFSO... You decide... Another point to support: Navi will take in genuine ETA7750 as movement swap :p
