Best Friend Forever... well, as watches go "Forever" is a pretty loose word - but take my word for it... the Noob Fifty is EXTREEMELY NIFTY.

Bezel click and movement is very near the gen. Has a fantastic - but not overwhelming - heft. All while wearing much smaller than most 45mm watches because of the curved bottom construction. This also prevents the watch from having a hockey puck dynamic that so many large watches possess. The attention to details on this piece show in spades.

This one has the SW200 in her and is mounted on a custom shark strap from Stone Creek Straps. The little Blancpain display was a accidental find on the bay. *Pardon the dust spots... she showed up "clean".

Today, I took her to my smith for a "review". .5 sec/day and passed 3 bar without issues. Happy as a clam. (Toro)

Good 4U.

Don't forget to order your T3/T4 drivers to fix the "pins". Like everyone has said - they come loose or already fallen off in the shipping box. Mine were on but very loose - you can't wear it AT ALL until you fix this one thing. I think any medium strength/removeable thread locker will work. I wanted Loctite 222 but Orchard didn't have that but they had another version - it "should" work fine for me. I found the T4 drivers worked for all of my screws - so if someone wants to buy some T3's let me know. Some get by with T3's some need T3 and 4 - mine again, was just the 4s. And - use a loupe to see what you're doing when retightening the scores... the difference between 3 and 4 is pretty small - and just by "feel" one could strip out their t4 screws "feeling" the t3 was fitting nicely. But for that - she's good to go.

I have to say that the replication of this watch is stunning, they got it right this time.
I wonder how this would wear on my sorry 6.5" wrist?

I have a wrist around 6.75" and it works fine. If you are not used to 40mm dress watches and Rollies but other dicers like AP-s and PAM-s, no issues. It wears like a normal luminor, but looks relaitevely smaller since the bezel is wide and the dial is smaller.
