Hi Folks

Recently got a PAM 571 ZF but did not do a proper QC (was my 2nd Rep and was overly excited).

The bezel had a few issues such as the 15,30,45 markers not aligned (small issue) but the top black stripes (not sure what they are called) were bad, very rough.

had a buddy who bought ZF PAM371 regatta and his was good loookin! So i am jealous :p

See this picture up close:

Had a friend who got a guru to check it out and he has no way to fix it as its apparently 'painted' and cant be dismantled to be repainted?

No reply from my dealer if he can sell me a replacement bezel from ZF, tried to ping a few other dealers too. One of them suggested me to get a whole KW 571 casing but after finding out the price, he too shared the same thought that it was not worth it (not cheap).

Does anyone have any suggestion on how to fix this or know of any dealer who can source for the ZF 571 bezel?

I really like this watch,..

Thanks again!

Cheers

I also ordered a 571 ZF I have not yet received QC pics but hopefully today or tomorrow I will. I do know that the 15, 30 and 45 markers are something to look out for. Define rough on the black markers on the dial. Should it really matter? Im just curious why this is a big deal?

Too be honest I would just re-paint them myself. very carefully and under a microscope somehow.
Thanks for the heads up though?

Well its supposed to be smooth. Most rep subs I've seen are like that, just have a bad run with mine :(. My buddy's zf pam371, noob 243 are all good.

Don't have the skills to do that hehe. Not as simple as just a repaint as you can see from the picture, the surface is rough (edgy) like a croc skin. So my guess is it needs to be smoothen out with sandpaper before repainting , but problem is it's almost crazy to sand the mini stripes one by one .. Too small

Just thought of this ...maybe asking a modder like Vac. OR someone with some knowledge on this. I would poke around in the mod section a bit ad ask around

Juat take the bezel apart. Then you can soak it in acetone to strip the black paint out and pop out the 15/30/45 markers. Then just repaint, let it dry for an hour or so and wipe residue off with a cloth soaked in acetone. Then manually align the markers and cement from the back. Done and done.

Never tried tinkering with my watch so not too sure if I can pull that off he he.. Probably will have to poke around the modders here to see if anyone of them can offer a fix for a price

Or if I can source for a working bezel and replace it, viola!
