Best yellow gold plated Day-Date 36 Rep right now?

Hey Guys,

what is the best Factory for the Day-Date 36 right now?

I don't see Day-Dates very often, even in this Forum.
Would you say the Day-Date Reps are already on the same level than the Daytona and Sub Reps?

And how do they compare to the Gen?

I am looking for a yellow gold one plated Day-Date Rep right now. What Factory does the best plating?

Definitely not at the same level of sub or Daytona reps. For a 36mm your best option will probably be GMF, their plating is not bad.

Yeah it does. It uses a a2836 which has instantaneous day and date change. There's also supposedly daydates with VR3255 which also do the same (and accept gen parts like dial, hands and date and day discs)

What I understand is the VR3255 is the best movement right now. I also recently saw some tungsten weighted gold DD 36mm. I hadn't seen those until recently. For a great article on the best movements currently on all RLX models see this post:

Clean vsf or gmf if you want heavier. Then get it replated. Factory gold plate is not good, looks fake as shit generally. Clean ain't too bad and neither is gmf. Vsf looks incredibly fake though.

Reps in "FG" have the usual weight problem. You should opt for tungsten models but I don't know if Gmf produces them in size 36mm. The best plating, in my opinion, is that of BPF and GMF. For the tungsten models there seems to be some problem to be replated (Flan Dad does gold plating in YG, RG and WG; @Nikz19 does gold plating only in WG, for the model in tungsten)

For that price I think it's a great rep. And BPF makes the best plating, imho

There is no VR3255 tungsten added.
with the a2836, there is a tungsten ring to fix the movement inside the case that increase the weight.

Tbh, get a clean or vsf and then get it replated. no matter the seller, get it replated

Sorry, disregard, I see APSF has one but that’s it so far. Really hoping we get good tungsten bracelets soon, it’s the biggest killer of these right now
