Best way to sell a collection of reps?

Hi All,

I bought my first rep around 20 years ago and have a modest collection of about 24 choice pieces. I don’t really socialise as much as I used and hence dont get the chance to wear the watches, hence decided they have to go.

Firstly, it’s been many years since I sold on here and multiple forgotten logins ago. But I remember this site was always more straight Forward than RepGeek, RWG etc. What are the current rules as all I can see in the read me files are warnings about not accepting PayPal friends and family or whatever. Is there a minimum post count ? Is there a VIP option to pay to become a member to circumvent the post count?

Are there any other options for selling reps that don’t require you to jump through tons of hoops before you can list them?

Any help appreciated!

Sorry, quick question - does it matter whether you are certified, supporter or patron? Or does either have any benefits with regards to sales?

See the sales rules. There are multiple differences regarding sales rules, like:

Registered non-Supporting members may list only one watch per sale/trade and only have three watch sales in a 30-day period and may not depict more than one watch in a sales/trade thread. Additionally, Non supporters may only list one watch at a time and must wait until the last sale is complete before listing the next sale
(only one working sale at a time )
Only one sales thread is to be created per item.

Supporting members are entitled to unlimited sales per 30-day period and the ability to list multiple watches per sale. Members are encouraged to limit multiple watches to five or fewer in one thread and to post new sales only after the current five items are completed. Watch parts (cases, crystals, etc) have no sales limit.

I will give you the two cent version... Pay for the subscription to supporter or VIP then you can bypass the post count requirement. You still have to do the certification requirement which is not difficult. Read the sales rules so you don't end up causing unnecessary headaches for the sales section moderators. Plan on being available for any potential after sales issues that occur. There is no such thing as ship it and you absolve yourself of all responsibility. Make sure you list them as accurately and thoroughly as possible with good picture sets. The best thing to do is look through the sales section and just get a feel for the sales that go smoothly listed by people who have been around for a while. That would be your template of what to follow
