Best way to remove FER 008 caseback?

What is the best way to remove the caseback from a FER 008 rep? My watchsmith refuses to do it because he doesn't have the exact tool (he doesn't want to responsible for scratching the case).

Is duct tape the preferred method for this one? Is it as simple was wadding up a ball of tape and pressing hard?

I've actually never tried it before...

NM. I just realized I've had what is referred to as a "sticky ball" sitting in the corner of my desk for like two years. Took two seconds to get the caseback off.
