Best version replica PAM127

Hi guys,

I'm looking for Panerai PAM127.
May I know what is the best version for this PAM127? ZF or V6F(KW)
I had ask the seller from China, the seller told me the best version is ZF.

Which seller would that be? Because most of the TDs here are based in China. :rolleyes:

Actually, if you even bothered to read "The Guide" (it's in my sig), the ZF is a Super Rep, but it's the lowest among the three factories. Highest (even though at low level) would be the KW/V6F with low distortion crystal, next to that the Noob, and then ZF. Methinks the seller has ZF in stock hence the reason for his statement. Nothing particularly wrong with it anyway. Besides, what good is a KW if you can't get it? ;)

Maybe the seller has ZF in stock.
I had read the "Pam guide", there are some pictures show that V6F movement close to GEN. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyway V6F is the best version for PAM127 I will order V6F PAM 127 from the seller.

So you read the guide and it says V6F, but a seller tells you it's ZF so you are now confused (hence the post). Remember the guide was created by people who have no vested interest in what you buy as we aren't connected to any factory. Now compare that to the opinion of someone who's selling you a watch for profit. Nuff said. ;)

Lol hilarious. Seriously though, reading, learning, and absorbing as much information as possible at the beginning is key. I'm relatively new, but almost every question you could imagine has been asked before; therefore, the search feature is your friend. Also, using the TDs for your first acquisition would provide a smoother first purchase. Good luck.

Ale, I'm just pulling your leg mate. There was sarcasm in my post. I have seen both the V6F and the ZF, just in fact the v6f this afternoon when a mate showed it to me. Case seems better built. Thou crystal seems a little lacking vs ZF. But the overall on the V6F still looks better.

Spend the money and get a Marlin moded 127. Almost as good as a gen :)

To add my 2p...

Both the KW and ZF's are ranked as Super Reps. There is very little to choose between the two. Both are excellent quality.
The ZF also has a greatly superior strap out of the box. I realise that many will change it anyway, but for those that don't want the additional expenditure...

I'd also add that there is a rogue batch of KW's floating around with poor build quality. You need to avoid those.
