Best under $100

Hi guys I'm pretty new here in the group I've only been browsing around for about 2 months.

I'd like to ask what's the best option for a first rep watch under $100?
I'm only looking for aesthetics and don't really care for the movement for as look as its an automatic. I'm not going to be modifying them anytime soon.
I don't need 1:1 reps but rather reps that are good as a daily beater and could pass off as a gen to those not so knowledgeable and passionate about watches.

I'm leaning towards this Sub as a first, is it a good copy or does it have obvious giveaways?

If you have any more suggestions under Rolex, Omega, Panerai, and Cartier that are pretty good cheap reps let me know and tell me their flaws from the original so if ever I get into the hobby I know what to work on.

I'd add a little more, say and extra 50 on top to make your budget $150, which at that point youll fi d some good m2m sales going on. I snagged a gorgeous 176 for that price.

I bought some cheapies in past and was happy tbh but once i found rwi i knew either i bump my budget lil up around $200 or buy seiko/other gen watches in close to $100 category. The cheapies have lots qc issues and are hit or miss(mostly miss in my experience lol). I am buying many gens seiko/bulova/Russian stuff and also drifting towards modding but i do keep checking m2m for any thing that catches my eye at my budget. Good thing about m2m on rwi is lots members here have too many watches , so when they put watches on m2m you know most of em are not abused and in great condition. Plus i am surprised by the support of mods and community here on rwi.

There are tag aquaracers with a quartz movement in your price range. I cannot speak to quality, but I've considered picking up one for myself as a beater. Here is one such example. It would be about $120 depending on conversion rates. I was looking at one that was not labeled as a caliber 5 since that's the automatic movement version.

If you have to stay with ONLY $100, I'd stay start with M2M and find some old models with good reputation. probably the best way to go

I know you did not mention U-Boat, but this m2m watch is in your price range.
It is automatic, and looks authentic ,(sort of), on the front.
Just don't show anyone the back of the watch.

If you're really that skint at the moment but absolutely MUST have a rep, then I would recommend to stay away from the common models like the sub you suggested, and go for something simple yet uncommon that no one knows let alone can tell is a fake. You may also wish to trawl through the "deals" or "discount" or "special offer" etc sections on TD websites. Sometimes you can get something that's pretty close to 100, like 128 or thereabouts.

Might as well light that 100$ bill on fire. Do yourself a favor and save up some money to get a better watch like a regmariner or try and find one in the M2M section.

Or better yet get a gshock will last you a long time unlike that cheap rep that will start falling apart in a few months.

I don't often chime in here.....but it is absurd to think you can't get a decent rep for under $100 shipped. You need to know what you are doing, and you have to be able to handle a few issue if they were to arise. But all these were under $100.

And that's in the past couple months. I would not suggest these for people who don't know what they are buying. But informed consumers can get stuff like this from Dhgate and its ilk. CAVEAT: THESE ARE NOT FROM TDS AND YOU MIGHT GET SCREWED.

Also check out narikaa. He is a TD here and has some really nice watches from $120+ rolexes, omega, Tudor, etc.

I've bought some used reps for around $100 that I've really liked. Yea not the best reps, but still enjoyed wearing them. Most of my reps are under $200, because much more than that, and I'd rather just buy a gen.

I feel like I would stick to lesser known brands at that price range though. While you might be able to find an 'ok' sub, it's probably the most recognizable watch, and the most scrutinized watch as it is such a commonly repped watch.

I got a top quality rep Breitling Navitimer for free just pay the shipping cost 400 usd.the only thing at 100 price range will be a quartz movement hardlex glass rep which are all over ali and dhgate.Can you buy a Ferrari for 10 grand.shipping alone is 35 bucks you better raise it 220 and your options open up a bit.
