Best Tourbillon

HI all, wish you all had a fabulous weekend,

When I first entered the rep game, I promised myself never to buy a tourbillon and yet, I cannot resist that sexy little thing anymore.

After a bit of research on the forum and through the thread "RWI Tourbillon Club", I still feel inadequate to make a final decision, so I decided to post a thread to ask for more opinions.

Here's my main criteria:
1. Good solid watch that won't break easily
2. **if possible, easy to service/repair in case of break
3. Relatively close to the gen model

I don't mind how $$ the gen is, and anyone could call me out, I buy this for my own pleasure. I don't mind that much on how the tourbillon itself look alike the gen, because I know how hard it would be, but if it is totally different then not ok.

That is all, please shoot me your advice and maybe a wristie.

I'd wait and grab the new JF AP Royal Oak tourbillon they'll be releasing. I had the TF version (see my profile pic) and it was an amazing piece. I'm sure JF will put it over the top with better finishing, thinner case and more gen like tourbillon.

Problem is. I'm afraid there will be no fund left.

I'm eyeing on the new rm35, looks very promising.

I'd wait for a tourbillon to be honest. Very accurate movement in terms of time keeping accuracy.

The most accurate tourbillon / closest to gen I found was the TF Royal Oak Tourbillon (although the hour wheel should be gold instead of silver), the Vacheron Constantin Malte (not sure if it is still in production) and the IWC Portuguese FA Jones Tourbillon RG.

Also another thing is I have high hopes for V6F Naut/Aqua, damn, I guess I won't have enough money either way LOL

I prefer on the other side some ALS & RD tourbillons.
This is mine RD Easy Diver

Can I ask where do you get RD watches? I've been looking for the Round Table Knight one.

As for the ALS, I'd say get it right away lol

I am sure most of the dealers can source the RD tourby rep (you have to choose your dealer - shoot me a PM if you need help).

Forget about the Rount Table Knight because we are never gonna see a rep of that one. Too complex and RD are not that sought reps..

I have currently three more reps of RD watches. Cheap automatic asian movement powered watches. Once I get them, I'll post some photos.

As already mentioned i think the actuall TF RO Tourby is the closest to gen tourby aviable (still far away from superrep) but if you can wati some weeks/months JF is going to release a Ro tourby too and according to angus it will be about 10mm thik and on JF quality lvl . I also saw pictures of the new tourby movt. and for my untrained eyes i looks identical to the gen movt ...

See. This is a knowledgeable reply. I have been looking thorugh all the TDS for the past few hours. The AP TF is close but the Wheel is a simple call out. Malte just looks boring, IWC is too. But you see, a well researched answer.

Hey Mrkt , the T Factory already fixed the wheel color to gold but the dealers still use the old photos . There is a thread (sticky) in the AP section where a member bought a RO tourby and received one with a gold wheel . And yes the AP tourby is actually the most accurate tourby rep from what i know . But if you are a patient guy i would recommend you to wait some weeks/months because JF is working on the same RO Tourby and i saw pics of the tourby ... all i can say its scary close to the gen :0! Also the JF one will come in 10mm thickness which is about 3mm thiner than TF . If JF doesnt screw things up we will hopefully have the first tourby "Superrep" in some Months.
