Best Seamaster 2220.80.00 replica?

I was wondering where to get a Seamaster 2220.80.00 replica. I have read somewhere on the forum that that model has a superrep. Its just that I have not found a good rep, everyone has to short hands. Most reps dont have the right text on the dial. "Seamaster" is supposed to be in red.

I think the silence is 99% of the people don't have a clue what a Seamaster 2220.80.00 is and like me, too lazy to look it up.

Not sure what's type of Seamaster your looking for. Omega has a Seamaster. We will need more information in order to help.

You could try going to the Watch Expert section and look under Time4Direct.
In his section under clearance items he has a few listed.

The 2220.80.00 is the red letter Co-Axial SMP that appeared in Casino Royale for 1 1/2 minutes. All the reps of it are bad for some reason.

Yes its the classical seamaster with blue bezel. Fakemaster youre right, i have been searching but they are hideous! The previous rep version is superior. But why are the hands to short? I mean that should have been the easiest thing to replicate!

I think I´m gonna get the previous rep. Gonna check that Watch Experts section.

It is just not as popular as the Bond model. These have many of the same cosmetic flaws as the GMTs which also are not as popular. So they just don't put as much effort into them. Remember the mentality of the rep makers is:

The replication of the 2220.80 is not very good. However, the replication of the chrono model is actually pretty good if you don't mind buying a chrono Seamaster. It does have it's flaws, but nothing drastic compared to the standard 2280 rep.

What do you mean with Bond model? The one i refered to (2220.80.00) is a Bond model.

Yes, I was considering the chrono but I really love the regular one better. So simple so elegant.

Young grasshopper, the 2220.80 is not considered the Bond model. The 2531.80 is.

He he! Young grasshopper?! Lol Well considered the Bond model is not the same as a Bond model... If 2220.80 was in Casino Royale its a Bond model! But I´ll fold on this one :)

Anyway the 2531.80 reps that i found do look much better but still have to small hands.
Seams like I will get a 2531.80 rep.

True true but think of it more like a tradition thing. If Bond were to show up in the next movie wearing a Sub again, sure all the commercialized consumers may run out and buy one. But the true fans will always consider the Bond watch to be the model Connery wore. Depends on how much of a purist you are. Kim Basinger was in NSNA but she is not considered a Bond girl. Eh I say get what you want. Just not that model because they really aren't that good.

You are refering to 2220.80.00 right? Because my mind is being set on the 2531.80 rep and hoping its a good rep.
