I quite like that first shitter. I am sucker for a 114060 w/o a cyclops, clean balanced dial and less and cyclops with a date wheel at 6 would be gorgeous.

With that budget I would suggest you get a franken rather than a stock replica. With a franken you can buy a replica that you enjoy that may have flaws and replace the flawed parts with genuine ones. Have fun reading, I am fairly new too and enjoy reading all about these watches, and buying them!

Maybe after a while but my advice to new joiners is always to buy a good stock rep, because it's likely that they'll be impressed by the quality out of the box. Then later down the road they can always frabken it if they feel like it.

I agree.. you could buy one or two reps to check the quality, then you will upgrade with gen parts if you want.. with your budget you could build a good light franken. This is my gmt:
Arf gmt 548$
Gen crystal 350€
Gen insert ~300€
Vr movement ~150/160$
