.
Which example do you like better? 1 or 2?

.

.
EDIT:

Which rehaut
Example 1, a CF GMT as-is from the factory.
Example 2 is a 2022 gen Rolex 126710BLRO.

FACTS:
The CF has a full AR gen crystal identical to the gen 126710BLRO’s crystal.
Photos were made with a DSLR on manual exposure so there is no variation in exposure.
Identical lighting and placement were used on both photos.
Photos were shot in raw and cropped but not manipulated, enhanced, or changed in any way.

The moral of the story: people like the rep’s rehaut more than the gen, but as a watchmaker I constantly get requests to “polish the rehaut to make it more genlike”.

1 also

Generally a light polish is all it takes to make a huge difference, if you go crazy you can overdo it and ruin the case.

#2 seems to have removed any depth from the etchings, making it seem flat.

In my opinion you still need the sharp edges to have good depth effect like in example 1, otherwise it almost just blends in the the rehaut.

1 has better dial print also 😉

I missed this till now. Surprised at the lack of traffic.
1 looks the best to me.
Thanks.

Not an issue.,no one in the real world would EVER notice any difference. This is one of those tiny things crazy rep people like to spout on about but really no one cares outside of rwi.

Great pics though! (y)
