Hello all,
I have Clean V3 BLRO and it’s stunning piece apart from the dial ”Rolex” print which looks faded compared to a gen I have. Since gen dial is very hard ( & expensive if found) I am looking for your knowledge which factory makes the best dials for 3285? I am planning to Frankenize the watch and gather best possible parts before opening it up.

Ps. If you have a good quality (compared with gen), please offer!

Greatly appreciated!

is this what you're referring to?

I received my cf gmt pepsi v3 literally today; was so happy until I put it next to my other rolexes (cf exp I & vsf sub) and I see a noticeable difference in the dial print

looks "weaker"- thinner & bluish grey compared to the whiter and thicker prints on the others.

this was not apparent on the qc pics without a side by side reference

I was wondering if this was a one off but...

Wow yeah that is clear as night and day. Clean fucked up their recent batch then I guess. Look at my v1 pictures, the Rolex is clear, defined, 3d printed, and excellently done. Another batch by batch issue cropping up now.

Sure you received a Clean GMT?. The printing is very thin, not very white and haven't seen any of the Clean GMT's look like that. The font of the date also looks thin.

now you got me doubting.

I did notice the date also being kinda thin but it seemed in line with other qc pics I saw recently

This is taken from Andiot Watches site and your dial print and font size look so different. What TD did you order the watch from.

I spent some time digging around for QC

You guys are absolutely correct, thanks for bringing it to attention. Seems this is a issue that prevailed on v3 onwards, and it is present on ALL GMT replicas, including those from ARF. It covers the whole range too - Batman/Rootbeer/Bruce Wayne, not a single model has the old "thicker" printing

I think that's a v1 Pepsi, which has the old printing

Spot on! This is exactly what I mean! My dial is 100% the same. I bought my watch from here from reputable French gent, so I am sure my watch is Clean V3.

Is there a vendor to buy a dial from?
I mean replica dial with that thicker text.

No. That is the old variant batch v1 and v2 of Clean dial, they don't exist unless it's M2M anymore. Any Clean dial you source will be the latest variant with the thinner print now.

ah!!!! wish I saw this before pulling the trigger

though honestly without a side by side comp (gen, or even different rep model) it' may not be obvious- certainly wasn't to me initially

it's pretty bad. if this is what factories are consistently pumping out now it's a 🚩

Mate you're overblowing it, it's not "pretty bad", you didn't notice it until after you owned the watch for a while right? If you think it's "bad" then just sell the watch, simple as that.

Is it annoying? 100%. But it's one of the things about the replica game.

My guess is the supplier for the dials for both Clean and ARF suddenly switched or altered their pad printing or something from the first v1/v2 batches.

This is normal in the replica game, suppliers come and go, those of us in the rep game for long enough know that replicas even vary batch to batch, it's "common".

Those of us who own replicas know that the motto often is "one step forward, two steps back". They fix one thing or upgrade one thing on a batch but then suppliers change or they regress in another aspect.

It's not uncommon in the replica game with illegal supply chains and suppliers getting raided left and right. We just play the game as it is.
