ale7575's Pam guide is beyond valuable. Look for those that are classified as "super rep" that have the characteristics you are looking for, is my suggestion.
My first Radiomir, in fact my first rep, was a 380. I've since purchased a couple of straps to change it up, a real alligator to dress it up, a tan leather with bulky buckle to dress it down. It is slim enough to actually wear with a dress shirt, unlike a lot of PAM's, so it's very versatile. The closed case back makes it very difficult to find a tell, there's the "PANER AI" that everyone talks about, but either my eyes are getting bad, or I don't let people as close to my wrist as others here, because although it can be seen, it is not easy. Maybe in a picture, yes, but with any sort of movement, or at a normal distance, there just isn't a tell.
Decide what material you want. Polished? Brushed? Black PVD, ceramic, etc. Then decide what dial you like. Sausage, or sandwich? I like the sandwich dials now, but don't mind the sausage of the 380. Do you want auto, or hand wind? Do you care about having any complications? Just seconds? Date? Chrono, GMT, etc. Remember, every complication adds to the risk of fault. So maybe something simple for the first time is a good idea? Once you make those decisions, try going through ale7575's guide, look for the ones that have the characteristics you want, and you're there.
I sat down, read through his guide, and made a spreadsheet for myself on Excel, and included every model he called "super-rep". Entered the material, case type (Radiomir or Luminor, etc), dial type, complications, included strap, all that sort of thing. Then it is easy to go through, decide what is important to you, and find the closest and best choice. It's a great learning exercise. I really can't emphasize enough the importance of the work ale7575 has done. His guide is immensely important. Read it top to bottom, and you'll know what you want when you're done, I would wager.
Good luck, but be careful. I ended up waiting for 4 PAMs in the mail by the time I had finished this exercise. Can't say I regret it now, though!
