If price wasn’t an issue, in your opinion what dealer has the very best PAM 111 replica?

That would be DSN. A lot of other posts on the Forum have discussed this. Look around and my guess is that DSN will be the consensus. But, that is just my opinion. Oh yeah, a lot of others share that opinion. Good luck with the purchase.

Isn't LH out of the picture at the moment? (Ok, you may still get hold of one from a fellow member, but I would never send money to LH.)

So, I would say DSN.

Cheers, Xplodr

DSN is Davidsen. He has a great 111h but get ready they are not cheap.

If price is an issue, a 111h from daytona4me fits the bill perfectly. You can have it around 200USD, you get top of the line Asian 6497-2 with swan neck and sword hand plus no short canon pin.

I know the lume is standard rep but with sandwich dial, reluming is not difficult.

You're right, but doesn't that he have that watch for $100, unmodded? Would most people know the difference of the canon pin?

+1 on that. At 175 USD + shipping it is a very nice deal. And remember, whoever you buy from, even DSN, you will need to get a new strap! The ones that come with the watches are simply not good enough. If you cough up another 100-120 USD you get a real nice one from Gunny, SC etc that will bring your 111H to a completely new level!

Cheers, Xplodr

+1 on that score. I have 6 PAMs now and 7 new straps. Anyone want my old ones that came with the reps?

I have been trying to get a hold of DSN, does anyone know of a better way to get intouch with him?

How about a Vaccum Mod; anyone know about him?

You have to e-mail DSN at his e-mail which is on the Dealer portion of this site. He's far way in China and doesn't stay up 24 hours a day. Give him a day or maybe two to get back. Vac is in the USA. His mods are great. Wait 2-3 months for lume job and AR and pay the premium price and you'll get a great watch. Out of the box, DSN can't be beat IMO.

DSN is best out of the box after LH.

Despite LH's shortcomings, his product is still the best out there when he gets it right. Now I think he charges $700-$800 for his 111.

Vac doesn't sell watch. How accurate and how nice the watch from him depends on your ability to spec-out the specs of the watch you want him to build for you and also the ability for you and Vac himself (if he can) to source the parts that you want to use for the watch. Added to that his amazing built quality, QC, CS, movt servicing, lume job, etc. So you never buy a watch from Vac, you buy a service.

For the mainstream, DSN's offerings would be more than enough. It's got built quality, value for money, etc. His QC has been questionable as of late but it's been consistent and miles better than your average cartel dealers. For the very picky crowd, that when they all went for LH, Vac-built, Rex-built, Ziggy-built, you name it there... For the hardcore, they themselves would be somewhat competent watchmakers who now build frankens and stuff...

Sometimes Vac has one to sell, but don't count on it. DSN is about the best value. He is not perfect but do you really want to spend 700 on a rep?
