Best option for Submariner rep

Hi there,

I have a franken sub 40mm rep, which is great. The only poor thing is the movement. I'm wondering what is the best option for replacement and where can I buy it? It would be great if the time changed at midnight and the crown worked in the correct direction.

If so, you already have the nicest rep movement, vs3135. It is largely contructed as per gen.

FYI my gen of the same reference never flipped over on midnight, it was a couple of minutes past.

..... Okay so to address your complaints. The date changing a few minutes before or after midnight has nothing to do with the movement, but how the hands have been seated. They can be adjusted by any competent watchsmith. As far as the crown motion goes, what exactly is your concern? The VS3135 is a clone movement of the Rolex 3135 and one of the best clone movements around. It should turn the same direction as the genuine as far as time setting and date setting goes. Remember, if you're looking at a newer 3235 Rolex, the crown adjusts in the opposite direction versus the older 3135 movement. Just mentioning that in case you had gone to a Rolex dealer and handled one of the current 41 mm submariners with the 3235 movement.
