Best Medium Santos at the moment?

Hello, looking to get myself a Medium white dial Cartier Santos, lots of conflicting and outdated information on the best option at the moment would love to hear your thoughts

Is GOF still the best? Was the BVF floating R fixed? Or is another factory making a better watch right now? Thanks in advance for replies

I'm doing some research rn as i wanna buy my first rep but don't know if I'm going for a solo or a santos.
However, after everything i'v read in the last few weeks i can tell that BVF is the way to go for Santos Medium. Steel or 2 tone.

I am a newbie here, and I was curious if the BFV and GF are the only decent factories making santos? I am looking for a medium white SS or black mate santos.

GOF (old GF) is back. I saw QC pics of a new GOF and it looks like my old GF.

BVF:

1. Floating R (I doubt it will be visible when you're wearing the watch; it's barely visible in photos).
2. Thick frosting on the crystal edges.
3. SS bracelet quality apparently isn't as good as GF.

GOF:

1. The QC I saw had thick frosting too (my old GF didn't have it). It may be a batch issue though since some old GFs had it as well.
2. Wrong seconds hand (the short end of the seconds hand is curved unlike the gen/BVF which is straight). The old GF had it as well.
3. The SS bracelet on my old GF was fantastic. Almost as good as the gen (which was only very slightly better).

GF I believe was screwed on. I remember reading about some of them coming off but I could be wrong. No idea about BVF. My GF had no issues though.

I left with the Santos Medium. This watch is mesmerizing. The Tank is very nice but I felt it could get boring over time. The Santos is just incredible. Especially with those tool-less quick adjust links, and the snap change of bracelet/strap.

Get the Santos.

Also, came across a brand new version I have not heard of before. A TD is carrying a black dial version from - HTB factory.

The new BVF apparently doesn't have the floating R. GF and ORF are back together as GOF. If you don't see it on a TD website, you can mail and ask them. They'll be able to get it for you. Apparently it has the same quality as the old GF.

Never heard of HTB factory.

1. let me ask somethin, puretime has a green dial BVF santos but it has the wrong case diameter, there isnt such model in 40mm without date.....
2. so last but least should i pull the trigger on GF 40mm blue dial? or BVF green dial 40mm (qc photos on trusty time looks awful for BVF green dial with missing O in Automatic and too much crooked lines numbers etc on dial.) idk what you think?
