I've been a bit fascinated by building vintage models and artificially giving them patina, but see a lot of threads using various different types of lume for the hands and indices. Some mention specific brands or types, some don't say anything.

Any recommendations for what a good "system" is, especially one that favors a beginner? I've had some early success with aging dials and bezels, but would like to work on the lume next, and am open to any and all tips, advice, or specific recommendations.

Thanks!

Work with noctilumina and it's fine. The only problem is to find the right mixture between lume and binder. Thats trial and error but 1:1 works as a base.
