Greetings, I'm a new member and I must say it's a pleasure to be here, and I've only been here reading all previous topics about this watch for a few days. I'm glad I found this site before making a purchase.

I would like to purchase a Grand Carrera Calibre 36 with a leather strap with red lines. I need your opinions and suggestions. I need the best one that looks exactly as the gen. one. But most popular web sites suggested here have been closed. I've found some on the web but I'm not as experience as you guys so I may not tell which one is most gen. looking and have a high quality mechanism. I'm planning to use this watch everyday so durability (discoloration of the case, scratch resistance of the glass etc. are also important for me). I want to buy a high quality replica that looks really as the gen ;)

- I need it to be look just like the gen.
- Have a bright red numbers on the dial as the gen one (not dark reds :()
- Works same as the gen (chrono, second hands movement etc.)
- Have a high quality and durability.

Some of the ones I've found have 0 200 problem, some has a "limited edition" printing on the back, rest has a white text on the back. I couldn't find a model which has all the gen's properties together :(

BTW should the watch have a white lines around the Tag logo on the adjustment ring on the rightside? Because some white lined logo where some has a solid black logo :( Please tell me what kind of adjustment pin does the gen one has.

Please take a look at the ones I've found and tell me which one to buy =D I'm also up to your alternative site suggestions to purchase. I'll buy the watch in a few days ;)

My options are:
http://www.watcheden.biz/tag-heuer-grand-carrera-calibre-36-chronograph-swiss-valjoux-7750-movement-pvd-case-with-black-dial-leather-strap-i-45214-p-1?&color=&size=

http://www.tswatchltd.com/10944-tg5...36-black-dial-pvd-ru-asian-7750-28800bph.html (out of stock-no leather strap)

Which one do you suggest? If none, any alternatives? :) Thanks for your time and your help is really appreciated :)

Cheers,

Firstly, I wouldn't suggest buying from any but our Trusted dealers here, (of which watcheden is one) ; if you do you're setting yourself up to be scammed.

Secondly I'd suggest contacting Rochest/Mary at WatchInternational (TD at RWG) when I was looking for a 36 she had the best one available ; one that I haven't seen on any other TDs website.

Some of the TDs here may also be able to supply the same watch?

Thanks for the suggestion ;) WatchEden was my first chice, but only problem with that model was the dark red colored numbers on the dial :(
I'll check WatchInternational (What is RWD?)?
P.S. I've googled watchinternational but their site redirects to google :(((((

BTW all models I've found has blue screw on the back inside the watch :( Blue ones are not present in the gen. one right?

I have a hand picked 36 like you describe. Just sorted my huge collection and identified it as one that I have never worn and therefore plan to sell it. Contact me is you are interested and after you have done more research and posting.

Also, Mary at Watch International is best contacted by email since her site is not current. RWG is my home forum and it is http://www.rwg.bz/ It is the sister site to RWI.

Thanks :) Can you send me some pics? And a price. Where did you buy it?

Does Mary has a direct e-mail? Or should I mail WatchInt. in general? BTW I've checked their web page TSWatch and they seem to be out of stock for Caliber36 also they don't seem to have a leather strapped model :( But their watch seems the best one except "limited ed. writing" :(

They will all have the same flaws if they are A7750 based. The red will be too dark and you will get blue screws.

You won't find one 100% correct buying a rep. If you want 100% correct go and buy the gen.

Need sec @ 6 module for daytona.

Are they proved SCAM sites? Anyone confirmed them? Or tried them? Or are they deleted because they are not on the TD list???

What a collection of terrible posts to start off. You should begin by reading the stickies and gather yourself before posting.
