Hi All,
I'm pretty new to this great informative forum!
Welcome to eMeet you.
For me it's still a lot to read and compare to search for the best factory to buy a specific Rolex model from to have the perfect 1:1 replica.

I'm searching for a great Rolex Yachmaster myself: 226659 (white gold 42mm) and a 126655 (rose 40mm). But were to buy a great replica that's worth of buying...?

Maybe i can create a thread for each Rolex model and what Factory to buy from + what website...
Starting from the models 2022:

  • Rolex Yacht-Master
  • Rolex Sea-Dweller
  • Rolex Milgauss
  • Rolex Air-King
  • Rolex Sky-Dweller
  • Rolex Day-Date
  • Rolex Datejust
  • Rolex Date
  • Rolex Explorer
  • Rolex GMT-Master
  • Rolex Cellini
  • Rolex Oyster Perpetual

May I offer you a coffee in the meantime? Should take a while to get through that list..

No, thats not how it works. Go through the forum and do your research. If you have specific questions - go ahead.
Noone will do your work on that one..

Maybe you can. Good luck! (I'd suggest that when you get to the "what website" bit, you just copy/paste "TD" each time.)

I notice that the "Rolex Submariner" didn't make it onto your initial list. Understandable, given it's not such a popular model. But might be worth considering as one of the niche watches that has a small following among the outer reaches of the community. We refer to them as a "subculture"...

This is a cleverly written post by OP. He avoided the angry mob simply by leaving out THAT rolex.

No problem issue i've noticed is that new members come in all excited to buy their 1st rep and always ask the same questions. Which inevitability riles up the more established members here whom have done the actual work of going through multiple TD/Factories. But notice that this forum should be of one that helps the new guys come in make an informed decision not through trial by error since past members have already paid that price. Hopefully this breeds a more welcoming community and new guys stay learn more and give back to the newer guys !

That and all the information is super spread out all over the place (yes I know there's a search button) .

Dear @kpeet , don't take it personally! You have just triggered the sharks to feast on a weak prey. It's like you asked the "what's the best" question 12 times in one single post. That's actually a record, I think.
Some of us like to have an easy laugh at your expense, no one got harmed in the process, though, and my advice is, laugh yourself at the witted answers of RWI's intelligentia.
You did nothing particularly wrong, apart from probably not having gone through some important sticky threads that would have saved you from this treatment. Try starting with the below, but don't miss all the others, important rules to read there, too.

I think your intention is, in abstract, commendable, but it would encounter several hurdles that would inbevitably make it unmanageable.
First of all, taste. What is the best for you will not be the best for the next guy. Only this would practically kill the usefulness of such a list. There actually already is a similar list (try searching for "rwi consensual list"), but it is, how should I put it, controversial (we may have to change the name, now that I think of it, the "controversial consensual list"). So much so that, while useful for newcomers at the start, most longer standing members don't give it much heed, if at all.
And that is because OWN research is always the best means to get to your OWN choice of model. Plus, it's fun.
If you want to turn all this into a positive, then just start your research, one model at a time, and share your findings here in single posts. Now that would be a sueful to-go thread for anybody interested in a particular model, albeit being a snapshot of a particular moment of a model's evolution, unless you kept it updated, which would take a lot of work if you want to do this for 12 different models.

Bottom line, don't take a grudge on us, we just like having easy fun at other people's expense but it's all very light and cheery.

Ciao a tutti
Sono abbastanza nuovo in questo grande forum informativo!
Benvenuto su eMeet you.

A partire dai modelli 2022:

  • Rolex Yacht-Master
  • Rolex Sea-Dweller
  • Rolex Milgauss
  • Rolex Air-King
  • Rolex Sky-Dweller
  • Rolex Day-Date
  • Rolex Datejust
  • Rolex Data
  • Rolex Explorer
  • Rolex GMT-Master
  • Rolex Cellini
  • Rolex Oyster Perpetual

I have a 126655 Clean Factory, and the quality is fantastic. I don't have a gen to compare it to, but I would be surprised if there was a factory that made a better 126655.

I quote you, in my little experience, Clean and ZF are the best Rolex reps. Also VRF is not bad and the new Datejust VRF is very very nice.

Newbies believe reps' biggest problem is knowing which rep Rolex is the best.
Really it's not like that, there are two or three factories at the top, everyone knows who they are, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and you have to make your choice on that
