I'm trying to determine the best factory for PAM 449. The ZF and SF versions "look" identical yet the SF factory version is $100+ more expensive. Is there really a difference? Please help.

Welcome on board but before you start buying and asking questions like this I would suggest you to read Ale's guide. You can get all the info you need inside and If still can't find your answer then use the search bar on the top right of the forum. There's plenty of answers laying around and all you need to do is homework.

You have to make a decision based in the flaws you can live with
Read PAM GUIDE, learn about the qualities and flaws of each version and make your own decision. As above commented for this rep there is no a clear winner
