I’m trying to find a good factory that produces day dates 40mm with tungsten heavy weighted and PVD yellow gold?

I have the GMF DD 228235 RG sunburst dial with heavy tungsten. I chose to have mine RG plated to make it last longer and to be more gen-like in RG color. I think the general consensus is that BP has the most gen-like YG color, but not sure they make a heavy version.

One thought is to purchase a YG DD from flandad already plated, cuts down on shipping time from TD, then shipping to plater.

One watch out on the DD 40's is the dial color, marker alignment, day & date wheel alignment. DD40's, regardless of factory, aren't know to be the best watch to get if you are nit picky about getting close to gen. I chose GMF bc I felt as if they were the best in regard to weight, dial closest to gen, and other factors.

You may hear a lot of opinions about which ones are closest, but none are great. If having the stock YG color closest to gen is your top priority, then BP I think is the best.

You guys seem to be confusing TDs with factories. Any TD can get you any currently produced rep from any factory. "Who is your TD?" is an irrelevant question.

@JSL121 you seemed to re-quote the OP and "correct" their intime URL by making it a .com address. It isn't. The OP had the address right, it's a .co address.

And finally, to @Jophis :

Thanks @p0pperini.

I requoted the post with .com out of error, it was late and I was tired, and probably hit the copy/paste/enter function and I couldn't figure out how to delete my post, so I quickly made another post with my comments as intended. I actually checked the OP's TD on RWI and confirmed the website .co was correct as the OP listed it. See more below.

I very much so know the difference between TD's and factories. The reason I asked who the TD was and the reason it was relevant:

1a) Confirm it was a RWI approved TD and to let the OP know if not.
1b) Confirm it was the correct TD website URL for the OP's desired TD. *A fake/fraud TD website posing as the legit TD website burned me once when I first started the rep game. (Ex. there is a Jtime scam site that looks just like the Jtime legit site). I realize reposting the .com probably confused the issue, but that was my mistake that I couldn't fix and there is not a .com URL for the OP's desired TD. so I figured no-harm-no-foul.

2) I wanted to see what factories the OP's TD offered.

I'm very glad RWI exists and the members we have. We protect each other, learn from each other's mistakes, watch out for each other, give advice, etc.. That's what a real community is all about.

I use Ctime and Jtime. I also buy a lot M2M. But there are many good TD's out there, just make sure they are RWI approved and that you are using the TD's correct website/whatsapp, etc. from the list on here.

Yes, all very fair points.
