I've read multiple posts regarding the watch and factory and have decided to choose between 1)AF 2)F1 However, I have a hard time choosing between the two as I'm very particular about the movement in them. As far as I know, AF uses a Ronda Swiss movement while F1 uses a decorated Ronda Swiss movement. Does anyone have any opinions on which would run better because I can't seem the find the exact details of the movement and as such what would be the better pick?

Attached are the pics of the movement I scoured the Internet for.

Both F1 and AF were affected by the raids earlier in the year. When I bought a tank must a few months ago only K11 was available, so this may be an academic question…

For what it’s worth I’m very happy with the K11, it has a Ronda movement with decorative plate on top. But what you receive may be different, you’ll see reports that some come with Ronda and others with cheaper Miyota movements. I’m no quartz expert but from what I’ve read I wouldn’t worry too much, as they’re all likely to be way more accurate and have a longer service interval than any mechanical rep…

I saw in a post at Reptime that the decorated Ronda movement actually conceals a miyota underneath which is golden. Can you attest to this?

I’ve seen both. Mine is Ronda but I saw another from same factory with miyota (advertised as same watch). They both have the real movement under a fake decorative plate so you wouldn’t know just from opening the case back, you have to take the plate off too. So I believe it varies and was perhaps due to supply issues or was an attempted cost saving. The Ronda is in theory “better” as it is jewelled, but in practice I doubt it makes any difference.

Annoying to have to think about, but personally it wouldn’t stop me buying. It’s a good rep, very accurate (the regular white dial is more accurate than the coloured & black dial versions, but they’re decent too).

So Li at Jtime can get the AF, are they back on their feet or is this remains from before the raids?

From what I've been told through multiple TD, AF is back. I got an AF Tank Solo XL recently through Hont. Strangely enough, I actually prefer to wear my TWF Tank Solo XL more though. Go figure.
