I like it, but my wrist is pretty small, so I would prefer under 39mmFor that price, I'd consider the Seiko Presage

Hi. I might be wrong but, in my opinion and at that price point I would go for a two hands quartz one, because at those prices, dresses are generally too thick when automatic. What's the best dress watch under $500 in gen for you guys? I'm thinking about Tissot LeLocle Powermatic 80 and Certina DS-4 Daydate
I do love it, such a stunning watchThe Tissot LeLocle Powermatic 80 gets my vote. A good friend of mine has been wearing his for about 5 years everyday now and he still is as happy with it as on the first day. It looks classy and fits any gentleman-like style very well.
tbh I dont like homage, they looks nothing different from another popular watch and makes other people noticeHaha, I just remembered what he said when he got the Tissot at the start of his career in consulting:
"All my bosses are wearing Rolexes and Omegas. They started to look sceptically at my Submariner hommage watch during our daily meetings. It became too embarrasing for me, so I chose the Tissot. Almost nobody knows it but many compliment it. Perfect choice."
Heck yeah... My wife has the 35 and I have the 40 (both green).I dunno of the Tissot PRX is an option for you. But, I would head that way. Had one and loved it.
Yeah. He does state he has a wrist on the smaller end, so maybe the 35 would suit him best.Heck yeah... My wife has the 35 and I have the 40 (both green).
But under $500 would be Quartz. The Auto is close to 700... So OP would have to increase his budget or settle with Quartz.
Agreed! That may sound too purist to some, but it is actually true.A dress watch is a very thin watch on a leather strap. It has no complications, no date. When you wear a tuxedo, you may not have your iPhone on you, but you surely know what day it is. The entire purpose of a dress watch is to allow the wearer to check the time of the night while at a formal setting. A perfect example for a dress watch is a Patek Philippe Calatrava or a Jaeger Le Coultre Reverso. I personally think the Seiko Presage is a very attractive watch, but a dress watch it is not.
I dont like the design of PRX lolI dunno of the Tissot PRX is an option for you. But, I would head that way. Had one and loved it.
