Bentlley GT

I just recieved my black dial Bentley GT and it is a stunna. This will definitly be a keeper and get some quality wrist time...

The one thing I noticed it this is the model that has the brighter red day and date font. That is not too much of a flaw and I can live with that. Some days it is slightly crooked so that is what I would want to fix. Where are the correct day and date wheels able to be purchased for this model..

You are stuck with the red. Gens are dark maroon, almost black in person.
There is no available mod to fix this properly.

I sent mine to Ziggy along with Black font ETA day and date wheels and washed the red right out of my GT.

i saw a new bentley GT a few weeeks ago and yes the date font is BLACK so there must be variations

Cousins in the UK has them, that is where I got mine. I could fine a link, but google is easier, lol.
ETA 7750 Day and Date Wheels, they carry both black on white and white on black.

Wheels are very cheap but shipping is crazy expensive!

Any good watchsmith could do it, but they do have to take out the movement of course to get to the wheels so they better know what they are doing.
There are some tutorials around for doing this. Also IWC model# 3717 has numerous posts about ETA wheels, this watch would be the same as used for an IWC mod.

Has the glass been AR'd or is it still factory spec?

I've been wanting to get my GT AR'd by K2222 but it seems like the crystal is bonded. Jakub says that its pressed. So in that case (er, pardon the pun) I will send it out to him

Watch pictured does have Cheiftang 1st generation AR coating.
Jacob or Chieftang's current offerings are better.

I had another crystal so that is with Cheiftang now and I will swap the crystals once done.
The crystal pops out pretty easy, I took it to a local watch guy to do it becuase I was afraid of taking apart the movement, but all you have to do is open from the back and push the crstal with your 2 thumbs. There is a gasket, but it is not sealed in anymore than any other watch.
Putting it back in you need a crystal press, I think.
