Does anyone know what function, if any, that the pusher/button thing has at the nine o clock position on the Bentley case? Is there some significance to Bentley? Why is it there?
Just curious.

Thanks.

Its a helium release valve on the Bentley models (except the flying B and tourbillon)
Not sure why though.. i doubt the gen is ever waterproof deep enough to require it. its probably more for show than anything. Breitlings dont have a great reputation for being waterproof, except for the Steel Fish anyways....

I was also thinking it was the He release valve. I did not realize that the Bentley's (even the gens) were deep divers!

IT IS NOT A HELIUM RELEASE VALVE!
That button should turn the inner bezel in conjuction with the main outer bezel can be used for calculation such as 0-60 time, 1/4 mile, etc..

Try it on your rep, oops doesn't function on rep ; one of the many flaws on this otherwise great rep.

Cheers,
M

yep you are correct!! I just tried it on a Bentley 6.75 and its a little release pin that allows/unlocks the inner bezel to turn seperatly. I didnt know that LOL
Thats pretty cool. Still looks like a helium release valve though. I could never figure out why there was one on these watches and now i know haha

Thx mreynolds for pointing this out
