Hi.

Was a member a while ago and life took a turn. Gone back to my little stash of replicas I purchased from china a decade or so ago. Got a BR01-94 carbon fibre faced watch that still looks cool. No way to get the back off. Do you change the battery from the front?
Any help much appreciated

If your Bell & Ross has a battery, you do not have a Bell & Ross.
The B&R is powered by an ETA 2892; replicas generally have the Miyota 9015 inside. Every one of them is a mechanical movement.

It's my understanding that he has a low-end copy with a quartz movement. Think of it like a DHgate level.

I can't speak to the replica, but the genuine the movement is accessed by unscrewing the four screws on the front and coming out through the front. I'm going to make a assumption that the replica which OP has at least this much design and build in common with a genuine Bell and Ross. Agreed with above, some good pictures of the front back and sides would help to better answer this

I just used a small flat screwdriver to pop the case back off carefully and swapped the battery with a 371. Snapped it back on and it’s been running fine since.

I had the same issue with the battery and ended up using an lr41 battery equivalent without any problems. It fit just fine and the watch has been working like normal since. If you're changing it yourself, make sure the case back is lined up right so you don’t mess up the seal.

This quartz version was a stash of cases from the BR01-92 Maker that used to make the chronograph one to run volumes and make some decent money back in those days.

The screws on the case back should be fake and cannot be removed.
