Belkin12 SLC Radiomir Fantasy

After reading @daytona4me ringing endorsements for @Belkin12 and looking at his previous work I decided to enquire about one.

I really wanted an SLC dial on a Radiomir case so looked at the previous builds with SLC dials. While looking I fell in love with the colours on the 1412 build. The black to grey gradient dial with the green numerals/lume was just stunning. So I asked if I could get a build that combined both, D confirmed that it was possible and provided an initial quote. He then went through the options for hands, crystal etc.

Once I received this it’s hard to put into words, but it is so special, it was a different feeling from getting a rep. It is beautifully made, the dial is absolutely stunning, case work amazing. This is my first manual wind watch with a ratcheting wheel and click and it is a joy just to wind it and listen to the click.

With D’s skills and parts availability there are so many options, you can build nearly anything you can think of, let your imagination run wild. I already have a 2nd build in mind, but I’m going to enjoy this for a bit first before enquiring about that. Thank you @Belkin12, I hope your business continues to grow and be successful.

I'm trying not to look too much! Thanks for the advice tho, was wondering how to start the ball rolling on a build. Would "I'd like a 45mm rad with sunburst dial" be specific enough or do I need to talk model numbers etc? Only bought my first pam last month so very much in the learning curve..

Yeah that's a good start, you can then discuss case finish, dial colour etc. Anything that he needs to know he'll ask you.

Normally it's for a car or large purchases (maybe it's an Irish thing).

It's wishing well to the purchaser & that they have many years of joy ahead with their purchase.

I think it's appropriate with watches too since they are worn, so have adapted a little

Wrt the tag line, I love seeing this type of build. Something that is unique to you. And that gives you joy. Not because it is trying to replicate something in existence, but because it's designed by you, combining several ideas.

Ah, I was 50/50 if it was Irish or a mistake someone made one time that then stuck.

Had a guy at work that you used to get sayings really jumbled and usually missed the point completely. One time he wrote an email complaining about some service but instead of beginning with, I don't like to be bearer of bad news. He wrote, I don't like to be a bad news bear .

Needless to say bad news bear was how he was referred to for quite a while .

That is a stunning piece, Belkin's work looks amazing, and i'm very happy that i just placed my first order with him. Can't imagine that it will be my last as i cannot stop looking through his past builds on imgur.
