I asked the legendary Belkin to build me a PAM 992 - this watch features the blue hand set. The hands appear black head on but at an angle are blue - lovely feature.
Genuine versions of these come with a high domed crystal but I didn't like the distortion that this created on the watch face so had a lower domed crystal installed instead. Timekeeping is excellent and the watch winds very smoothly. No visible damage on this piece and selling on a 4mm thick calf skin strap with non Panerai branded buckle. ***For full transparency - I returned this watch to Belkin who very kindly corrected what appeared to be a defect under the crystal free of charge - Belkin thought that the watch may have taken an impact at some stage and this loosed a tiny piece of paint that then stuck to the inside of the crystal - under magnification a small impact mark is visible on the bezel but this is entirely invisible to the naked eye - the bezel appears perfect***
