Been thinking of a Cali dial...

What are you thoughts... kinda like the idea of the non-branded... and the Cali-dial is unique especially with Flav or Vaccum spicing them up really unique... mini-fiddy case..

Any pics that you guys have or seen that could help tilt me one way or the other.

Part of the lure is that I don't have to worry about the feeling of having a "replica" ... I know I feel that way sometimes when I have worn one in the past.. with this it is more of a custom built watch...

There are some more accurate ones out there. I do like the 47mm Cali dial.

As far as accuracy... that is certainly not my priority... as honestly I don't want it to say panerai anywhere... I would like more of a custom time piece ... so having a few differences is actually a plus..

I believe that is a mini fiddy case in his pics.

44mm mini-Fiddy case fantasy watch. Since it's a fantasy, I don't need to worry about it being accurate when compared to the gen, since there is no gen! :wink:

I REALLY like that watch in the 44mm size. They stopped making those mini fiddy's so that will be even more unique.

Yep, vaccum did it for me. All the pics above except for the bottom one are with the new acrylic crystal from CousinsUK.com

FYI, Silix sells 212s with acrylic crystals fitted out of the box. I don't know if they offer anything with true sapphire, though.

The Calif dial is very cool - my wife said same-same about looking like custom selection vs. rep. Nice.
