Would appreciate some advice. I bought an expensive dial on ebay and asked the seller to mark down the customs value, he agreed. I received the package today but he sent me the incorrect dial, it is half the value (and very hard to sell). Waiting to hear back from the seller but worried he'll just ignore me on purpose if he knows I made myself ineligible for buyer protection... Lesson learned but what are my options?
Obviously I can keep the dial and sell it at a loss but wondering if I can even issue a successful chargeback. I'd be happy with a refund at this point but not sure if eBay would let me. If I could just refund it then it would seem like no damage done surely? I.e Nothing gained nothing lost.
