Purchased a GMT II, in fairness, having owned a real one, I have to say visually it's really decent.
But problems, problems.
So I only had the watch about 6 weeks or so and the darn strap broke. The clasp part would not close properly , then it came off on one side. Additionally one of the pins that hold the strap to the watch came out. They said this was just unlucky and usually they are very high quality but because the warranty is only 30 days (this is my fault I would never have ordered had I known) I would have to pay to replace it but they would pay for shipping.
So then I agreed to a price but then after sending them the money they then said actually they couldn't sell me that bit and the only way to get the clasp part new was to purchase a whole new strap. So I did that, I forget the amount but not cheap about $125 or more. So sent them that on top of the cost of the watch and finally got that weeks later.
So I had to have the new strap adjusted, think I got fat over xmas but anyway finally got it back from jeweller and coudl wear it.,
But within a few days I noticed it was keeping terrible time. Like losing hours a day over night when not wearing it at bed. I had owned an original once and it would easy last until morning but not this one. So then I tried wearing it all night, same issue, the self winding mechanism is just very bad/broken.
now I have to send the entire watch back but I'm not allowed to do that until the end of january because their supplier is on holiday!
So now with waiting until then, plus at least no doubt 30 more days to fix it and return it plus I have to pay the darn shipping I have yet antoher 2 months ahead of me with no watch and out of pocket a 3rd time.
Overall, just a really frustrating process I guess.
It's my first time buying replicas, I won't be doing it again.
So frustrating but I will say the watch other than breaking all the time looks decent.
Oh one other thing I swear whatever they use to make the dial light up is NOT on par with the real ones. That used to stay alight until morning but this one is so dim it barely helps and goes off in a few hours even if you shine damm light on it before bed.
Maybe my expectations were too high but the reliability is awful and for what is now costing me about £750 or more with replacement strap and more shipping IO could have bought a far better quality watch.
That's my experience so far.
Hopefully once fixed I will have a watch but that isn't going to be now until March!
